My favourite film analysis on 'The amazing spiderman 2'

The Amazing Spiderman 2

Marvel, as an institution, generally produce many of my favorite movies as they don't follow one particular genre. They involve romance, comedy and action, an 'all in one film' to get hooked on and to appeal to any type of audience member. The film also doesn't follow the classic 'happy ending' synopsis. It's about sacrifice and tells a realistic perspective on life after and before becoming Spiderman and losing his love interest Gwen.

Although this is a sequel I prefer this film compared to the first due to the technological differences such as, the use of CGI and expert cinematography especially with the villain known as 'electro'. it was done in a specific way that made it realistic.
The script is written to reflect comedy, sadness and revenge and really makes the film. The story is about finding himself with the help of the director Mark Webb and with the main actors being; Andrew Garfield, Emma stone, Jamie Foxx and Dane Dehaan. I think that Marvel picked a good main actor (Andrew Garfield) to play Peter Parker, as they are directing it towards the female aspect of the audience.
Generally this is one of my favorite films as I am a big fan of comics and I was able to see it at the IMAX cinema in London so it made everything bigger and you felt more involved and a part of the film, as it was in 3D. This is a fairly recent film; it was made in 2014 so it has more higher equipped technology and techniques for this generation.
My favourite scene in the film would have to be the 'fight scene' in Times Square. Generally the location was amazing as it was set in an iconic place and there was a sense of realism as civilians were watching it happen. The scene is all about electro being misunderstood, with a lack of control with his new abilities. Their friendship quickly turned into hate, this was emphasized by the music composed by Hans Zimmer. The music complemented the scene perfectly as he used electric sounds and pulses to emphasize Electro's anger and to create tension building up towards the fight scene. The music whispers and foreshadows electro's thoughts and feelings towards Spiderman without having to physically speak them.
