Location/ set design
The location that we are going
to use for this opening sequence is Jamie's house in Cranleigh because
the location is close by to the school which means that we will have
more time for the shoot, therefore not wasting time. We will be using
Jamie's living which will enable us to have time to rearrange and
organise before shooting with the props, as we have to make the room
look deserted and dirty to really represent the man in a traumatic way. All of his rooms have an antique and old theme within the room and this is important as the rooms almost look deserted. The rooms all look different and we need this for our thriller as we want it to look as if both the girl and the father are in different rooms, shocking the audience when he then walks in to the same room she is in, changing his representations into a negative one. The potential problems with this are that his parents could be home and want to use the same room and we have only see the pictures of the room, meaning that they could look different and not look the way we want them to and by the time we get there it is too late to change the location.
